It's just 3 miles, but...
Three weeks ago, I modified my diet. The results have been amazing.
I have lost weight.
I have more energy.
But most importantly, I am running better. Today, was no exception.
I ran three miles today.
Mile 1 - 10:06
Mile 2 - 9:48
And are you ready for this?
Are you really ready?
Mile 3 - 8:48
Friggin an 8:48 mile. I don't remember the last time I ran an 8:48 mile.
But it felt great.
Oh, and I promise to have pictures of OKC up this weekend. There are some fun ones.

damn. now if only modifying my diet did that to MY running.
hmpf!
Swung by from A.Maria's blog. Saw the picture. Had to ask. Obviously, you ran a race at a Disney location.
And with Goofy in the picture, it leads to the question. Did you run Goofy's Race and a Half at Disney World?
I so want to run that. I was going to run the inaugural race, but a baby being born a month before that slowed me down.
Are you sure you didn't run a 12:48 and then uede your 4 minute credit from the marathon?
iron pol, yes, Idid the Goofy Challenge. It was awesome. I have never had that much fun running 39 miles in 2 days, ever. It wasn't that much more training and that Goofy medal is totally worth it.
And doug, your comment doesn't deserve a response (but it did make me laugh - but just a little).
Looks nice! Awesome content. Good job guys.
